My very first book, Being Called Chaplain: How I Lost My Name and (Eventually) Found My Faith is now available on Amazon for Kindle! This is a red-letter day for me. I can’t even describe how excited I am. You can read the first two chapters for free by clicking Look Inside. I hope that you will then want to read the whole book and post reviews, and spread the word to your friends if you enjoy it! For those waiting for the print version, pre-order will be available soon, and it should be printed in just a few weeks. If you need me, I’ll be over here doing my happy dance!
How exciting! Did you do traditional publishing or self publishing? I’m always eager to hear of people’s journeys!
Thanks, Charnell! My book was done through a small independent publisher here in SC called Harrelson Press. The editor-in-chief and I had mutual friends in common, and she had read my blog, which helped her know my writing. It has been quite a journey! I’m loving this part of it. 🙂
That is so cool! Just read your about page and skimmed some of your articles. I love that you are a woman of faith who writes! I’m looking forward to keeping up with your blog!
And it works on British amazon 🙂 Bother, I actually have to work today, though!
Yay! I’m glad it works! I hope you like it!
I just bought my copy (kindle version!). So excited to read it. Will come back with more feedback 🙂
Great, Shama! I can’t wait to hear your review!
